Islamabad: Top officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here on Sunday and took him into confidence regarding the planned arrest of 22 important figures of the country, including leading politicians, who are allegedly involved in corruption scandals.
As per media reports, FIA officials presented details about the involvement of influential figures in corruption cases before the prime minister and took him into confidence regarding initiating legal proceedings against them.
There is a strong possibility that these important political personalities would be arrested in coming days.
