Petra Kaltenbach is a sensation when it comes to visualising arts. This is exactly what her philosophy is all about as she cajoles visual communication, graphics and colours with many themes in her artworks. After a successful career with an advertising agency, Kaltenbach's new world of passion is communicating through art. The product is QR_ART, a composition of physical and digital artwork.
The QR technology helps decipher artwork. It is subject to intrinsic transformation through the generation of a QR code that becomes a digital work of art when scanned. With origins in 2014, it can be put to use after downloading a QR code scanner-reader, promising thrills from her work, which Kaltenbach calls Zeitgeist.
She says she has long been researching about life and beliefs. This is why she wants to express her observations and impressions through art. Kaltenbach says that in this over-digitalised world that lacks certainties, humans are increasingly developing the need for reality, structures and limits. "We seek security, contact and predictability. We seek roots," she observes.
