Arts and creativity

Education reforms planned by the government are a major step in the right direction. The UAE's focus is on innovation, and I agree that science and technology have their place. It does not mean that arts and other subjects are not important. For the creative mind, it's important that arts are not ignored. Civilizations are not built by science alone, but by culture and knowledge. The two go together. They cannot be seen in isolation. Science will help us develop, but arts and culture help us stay at the top. Knowledge is good, but wisdom is paramount.
