Disney chief, Bob Iger, took notice of a heart-touching tweet by a Hampshire hospice urging an early screening of the last Star Wars film for a dying fan.
According to report in BBC, Iger has pledged to help the terminally ill man who wants to watch the film with his son before it releases on 20 December. 'Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' is the last film in the current Disney trilogy.
The tweet by Rowans Hospice in Waterlooville, Hampshire, read: 'Can you help? We have a patient who's a HUGE #StarWars fan. Sadly, time is not on his side for the 20th December. His wish is to see the final Star Wars film #RiseOfSkywalker with his young son'.
Iger, who is the chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, said in response: 'we will certainly try'. The hospice said, "We have replied to Mr Iger on Twitter and are waiting for a response from him."
