Bloomfield Hall School Peshawar took a batch of eight high school students, under the supervision of two faculty advisors, to participate in Harvard Model United Nations (MUN) 2019. They also met the Pakistani ambassador to the UN, Maleeha Lodhi, during their trip. After the conference was over, the students travelled to New York where they had the privilege of visiting the UN Headquarters. They visited actual committees which they had previously represented as delegates in the MUN. They also had the chance view relics and samples of historical importance. The MUN is a simulation of the actual UN and mocks the ongoing meetings and conferences on global world issues regarding the different committees. The four-day conference had a lot to offer, interacting with ambitious students from all around the globe. Students are bound together by the confidence and passion to contribute to solutions that help make the world a more peaceful and safer place to live.
