While the fatality rate for most wheel-well stowaways is high, some people have survived the ordeal

In another seemingly unending series of bad luck for the already unlucky Note 7, it has now cancelled an entire flight, Gizmodo reports.
A Virgin America flight bound for Boston from San Francisco in USA, was delayed and eventually cancelled after its crew discovered a WiFi hotspot named 'Samsung Galaxy Note 7' mid-flight. An immediate search of the cabin found out that no Note 7 was in the flight.
Initially no one came forward as to whose smartphone it was that used the Note 7 name. It was only after the pilot threatened to divert the flight to Wyoming that a person came up and had the name of the WiFi hotspot changed.
The WiFi portal was named after the smartphone which has a history of exploding and has since been banned on major modes of transportation.
Serenity Cladwell, the editor of Apple-related website imore.com was in the airport where the plane eventually landed and got cancelled. She tweeted her account of how the passengers from the flight had to change their itineraries due to the incident.
"The plane was mid-flight when an attendant noticed a wifi hotspot. A Galaxy Note 7 Wifi hotspot." Everyone else makes a horrified face.
