The residents of the White House have repeatedly experienced ghostly activities in the White House. We take a look at the creepiest areas of the White House.
The Attic
The shortest-serving president of the US, William Henry Harrison succumbed to pneumonia a mere month after his inauguration.
However, the residents of the White House have reported seeing his ghost in the attic of the White House, with unexplained noises being heard from the attic above the Oval Office.
The Rose Garden
The garden mostly used for presidential announcements is haunted by the ghost of First Lady Dolley Madison, who originally planted the garden in 1800's. The place is one of the most haunted places in the White House.
The second floor Halls
As per the stories by the residents of the White House, the second floor halls of the White House are haunted by the ghost of the President Abraham Lincoln. He has been seen and heard by many residents.
The Yellow Oval Room
The room is known to the personal library of President Abraham Lincoln and one of his favorite places too. First Lady Grace Coolidge had seen the ghost of President Abraham Lincoln here. Ghosts of Presidents Thomas Jefferson and John Tyler have also been reportedly seen.
The Rose Room
The ghost of President Andrew Jackson has often been heard laughing and swearing violently in this room. According to Listverse, there is an inexplicable cold spot on the canopy bed in the room where Jackson slept.
