A US woman is on trial for lacing her husband's cereal with drugs - so that she could avoid having sex with him.
Andrea Heming, a 49-year-old Nevada resident, confessed to investigators in 2015 that she drugged his bowl of Lucky Charms to prevent him from having sex with her while she was sleeping.
She allegedly told investigators that she added just enough boric acid to her husband's breakfast to prevent him from getting aroused, the New York Post reported.
"I wouldn't use that much to kill him."
Heming was on the run after pleading guilty to the act, and after paying $50,000 bail.
Authorities have not been able to track her down since she failed to attend her sentencing hearing.
Identified as 'Ralp', her ex-husband has asked authorities to find Heming.
According to authorities, Heming might be in her native Mexico.
She faces up to 15 years in jail.
