The UAE is gearing up for the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. And with Ramadan comes a bevy of Iftar promotions. Iftar is a traditional meal with which followers end the day's fast.
Here are some must-try Iftars around the town.

The Daily, Rove City Centre

Enjoy a community Iftar with a wholesome menu, communal seating and a chance to pay it forward. Do an act of kindness by getting an Iftar voucher when you pay for your meal and pass it on to people in need, friends, relatives or a charity for the underprivileged; and it's only Dh99!

Metro Restaurant, Millennium Plaza Dubai

Iftar at the QE2

Dubai's first floating Iftar will be hosted aboard The Queen Elizabeth 2 this Ramadan. A purpose-built majlis, which is located on the ship's largest deck, can host up to 250 people daily from sunset to 9pm

Al Iwan

According to their Facebook page, Dinner in the Sky's season ends on May 31. The season-ender coincides with Ramadan so if you want to take your Iftar experience to new heights (literally), try this one out.
