Muscat - Deep air depression in the Arabian Gulf causing heavy rain and strong winds.

Three Gulf nationals were injured in a lightning strike on Saturday in Oman.
According to a statement issued by the Royal Oman Police, the three Omani citizens were hit by lightning in Sohar.

"One of them is in a critical stage and we have transferred the person to Sohar hospital," ROP said in a statement.
Due to deep air depression in the Arabian Gulf, Oman has also been experiencing heavy rainfall, thunderstorm - along with UAE - in its North Al Batinah region.
Police in Oman have urged motorists to take caution when driving during rainy weather.
