Fresh from the 13th Dubai Film Festival, UAE residents will be in for a treat as some of the stellar films that filmed during the Film Festival will be available to see in cinemas starting tomorrow. Here are our top picks.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Like every great war film ever made. with lasers Rogue One is the first of the three Anthology movies that Disney had planned for the Star Wars franchise. In terms of keeping up with the Star Wars saga, Rogue One is set somewhere in between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope and follows a unit of Rebels on their mission to retrieve the plans of the big bad of the original trilogy - The Death Star.
Miss Sloane
If you thought government paperwork was boring, see this Opening up the 13th Dubai Film Festival last week, Miss Sloane is a gripping political thriller about Washington lobbyist Elizabeth Sloane (Jessica Chastain). The film carries with it political undertones about the question of gun control within the United States. Watch as Chastain masterfully navigates her way through the maze of politics while avoiding powerful enemies who threaten her career and people she loves.
Little Sparta

Five people you meet in heaven, minus heaven and minus two Prepare a box of tissues when you see this one because you'll never know. The film plays out akin to Pursuit of Happyness plus Will Smith stars in both films. You'll be on board a train of emotions delivered by no less than Academy Award nominees and winners.
Wajah Tum Ho
There's a bit of gore here and there so you might want to keep that in mind Wajah Tum Ho takes some cues from some notable crime thriller films but also manages to gain its own identity too. The film revolves around a murder that is being televised in live television and the concerted efforts of leads Sana Khan, Sharman Joshi and Gurmeet Choudhary to prevent it.
