ABU DHABI — General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, administered the oath of office yesterday to 56 judges and prosecutors, following their appointment at the Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department.
The swearing in ceremony was attended by Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department and Sultan Saeed Al Badi, under secretary. Shaikh Mohammed welcomed the judges and prosecutors and wished them success in serving justice without fear or partiality and in accordance with the Islamic sharia. He urged them to demonstrate integrity and dedication. Out of the 56 appointed, one judge and seven prosecutors are nationals, including two women prosecutors, a head of the cassation court and an acting attorney general.
