An official from the AAEZ said a committee from the Private Schools Department of the AAEZ will visit the private schools to ensure that they are complying with the Ministry of Education’s regulations so as to consider seeking the ministry’s approval of the fees hike.

The six schools that have sought fees hike are Al Khaleej Academy, Al Sanober School, Al Ain Juniors School, First Lebanon School, Al Nasha’a Al Salih School and Al Dhafra Private School.

“Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan School and Al Madar International School have already got official approval to raise the fees. While the first school applies the MoE curriculum, the second applies British and American curriculum,” added the official.
