A seven-year-old Emirati girl died on the spot is an accident involving two vehicles on Malaita Road on Sunday.
Police said the strong impact of the crash due to over-speeding caused the car, in which the deceased was riding along with her family, to turn over several times resulting in instant death of the girl and minor injuries to her father.
Police said on receiving a call about the accident, the team rushed to the spot and shifted the girl to Al Dhaid Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her father received treatment and was discharged from the hospital.
Sources at Al Dhaid hospital told Khaleej Times that the death of the girl caused due internal bleeding.
