The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City has announced that the working hours of its head office and Marina Mall customer service centres will be from 9am to 5pm from Sunday to Wednesday and from 9am to 3pm on Thursday during the holy month of Ramadan, while external centres will receive customers from 9am to 3pm.
As the municipality is keen on offering customers ample time to clear their transactions, the customer service centres at Al Shahama, Al Musaffah, Marina Mall and Al Wathba will offer services from10am up to 2pm on Saturday to make it easy for fasting customers to have their transactions processed in a smooth manner without making them wait for long.
Mohammed Ali Al Murar, Director of Customer Service at the municipality, said the customer service centres were capable of processing customers’ transactions fast and the municipality would continue providing the mobile municipal services to all community segments, giving priority to special needs, elderly and widows. Municipal employees were being dispatched to provide the required services throughout weekdays from Sunday to Thursday at any place within the peripherals of Abu Dhabi city.
“To order the service, customers are required to call the customers service centre at 8002220 from 9am to 3pm from Sunday to Thursday during Ramadan, and furnish the attending staff with the caller’s name, date of birth, address, and the required service. Once the appointment is fixed, an SMS will be sent to the customer communicating the exact timing required to deliver the service.”
As the municipality was keen on broadening the scope of municipal services, it had opened a number of centres to serve customers such as the Main Customer Service Centre at Shaikh Zayed Road, and Customer Service Centres at Al Bateen, Marina Mall, Al Zaafraana, Abu Dhabi Chamber, Al Musaffah, Al Wathba and Al Shahama, and Al Muroor and Al Musaffah Centres for Selling Subsidised Foodstuffs.
