Brigadier Mohammed Saif Al Zaabi, head of the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, praised the municipality for its humanitarian and community-oriented gesture.
He said that such events would realise the objectives of correction and social bonds between the community and inmates. It also boosts the confidence between the two parties.
He called on the municipality to continue such initiatives as they would have a positive impact on inmates and contribute to realising the correctional objectives.
Al Zaabi honoured the delegation and commended their efforts and outstanding initiative.
The visit comes in line with the vision of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport - Abu Dhabi City Municipality towards its social responsibility. The visit aims to promote the values of solidarity between government entities and community segments.
