The gas consumers of five Northern Emirates will get a Dh7 relief on a 25lbs LPG cylinder, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution announced on Tuesday.
Adnoc Distribution reduced the price of refillable LPG cylinders of 25lbs capacity to Dh54, down from the previous marked retail price of Dh61. The company has also reduced the price of refilling the 50lbs capacity LPG cylinder that is available only at Riffa station in Dibba-Fujairah to Dh105, a reduction of Dh17 from the earlier Dh122.
Khalid Hadi, Vice-President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Adnoc Distribution, said: “The reduced prices announced by Adnoc Distribution today underline our commitment to customers who regularly purchase LPG cylinders in the emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.”
The price reduction came in line with the lower prices globally, he said. Hadi pointed out that the prices of LPG cylinders at all Adnoc Distribution stations in these emirates will be monitored. The company is seeking to develop its services and capacities in line with the growing demand for LPG cylinders, and aims to make life more convenient for our customers by passing on reduced prices to them, he said.
Adnoc Distribution currently provides more than 3,000 subsidised 25lbs gas cylinders daily at its service stations in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Moreover, holders of Rahal ‘E-Gas’ cards in the Northern Emirates are authorised to get subsidized gas cylinders. Rahal ‘E-Gas’ is issued free of cost by the company at its offices in Sharjah or at select Adnoc service stations across the UAE.
