MWL Secretary General stressed the need for unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians by opening all crossings
The Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing department airlifted seven people from different locations in the Capital to Khalifa and Tawam hospitals last week.
In the first case, an air ambulance transferred two Emiratis — a man and a 9-year-old girl — from Al Sila Hospital to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain city. Both citizens had sustained injuries in a traffic accident in Saudi Arabia.
Another air ambulance airlifted a Bengali, who was injured in a traffic accident, and an 80-year-old man in deteriorating health condition, from Delma Hospital in the Western Region to Shaikh Khalifa Hospital.
In the third case, a 70-year-old Emirati woman was transferred from Ghayathi Hospital in the Western Region to Shaikh Khalifa Hospital.
In the fourth case, an air ambulance airlifted two Emiratis, who sustained serious injuries in an accident, from Al Shuaib region to Tawam Hospital for treatment.
Paramedics on board the air ambulances provided the necessary medical treatment to the injured during the flight to the hospital and submitted a report on their health condition to the hospital officials concerned.
