Abu Dhabi's tourism reward programme to give away Dh5 million

Abu Dhabi - To become a 'Mall Millionaire' shoppers needs to spend Dh200 at the mall and present their receipts to the customer service.

Residents and tourists stand a chance to win Dh5 million worth of prizes at 22 malls across Abu Dhabi. The 47-day summer offer comes as part of the Department of Culture and Tourism's (DCT - Abu Dhabi) Retail Abu Dhabi rewards programme.
Nadia Rashid, project manager of Retail Abu Dhabi, said there are plenty of amazing offers, discounts and activities rolled out from June 18 till August 3.
"Retail Abu Dhabi is a brand developed by the DCT to unify the activations in Abu Dhabi retail sector. Through this summer initiative of Retail Abu Dhabi rewards programme, we have 21 malls participating with us and offering great deals. The total value of prizes available in Abu Dhabi is Dh5 million," she said. This is so far the biggest initiative under Retail Abu Dhabi Season, which was rolled out last December.
"This is one of the many events which we will be running with our partners at malls. There will be more activities, engagement at malls, deals and offers for shoppers and tourists to Abu Dhabi," Nadia said.
Line Investments and Property that manages eight malls across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain launched a mega shopping fiesta with tempting deals. All the eight malls will see the 'Mall Millionaire' promotion where shoppers can win Dh1.5 million worth of prizes with weekly draws of Dh50,000 and a mega prize of Dh1 million at the end of the summer sales with other instant prizes.
Line Investments and Property director Wajeb Al Khoury said even as summer gets hotter such promotions will lure people to the malls. "Our retailers are looking forward to participating in the summer RAD promotions that provide incredible offers, rewards and discounts for residents and visitors. Summer is when most people spend indoors and our malls ensure there are enough events, shows and activities to indulge visitors of all age groups."

The participating malls include Al Wahda Mall, Mushrif Mall, Khalidiya Mall, Al Raha Mall, Mazyad Mall and Souk Madinat Al Zayed in Abu Dhabi, Barari Outlet Mall and Al Foah Mall in Al Ain.
