The case had come up for hearing on Tuesday. Youssef Hammad is the defence counsel for Arnold, who is standing trial on the charges of endangering the lives of others.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Kerry, a South African woman, was last seen with Arnold on the night of August 20.
In the previous hearing, Arnold claimed he did not mean to kill or harm a Lebanese man he chased with a baseball bat on August 20.
The Lebanese man is one of the neigbours of Kerry’s in Al Barsha area.
It is alleged that Arnold intimidated the neighbour after he saw him punching and assaulting Kerry that night.
Hammad urged the court panel to call the man to hear his testimony.
The incident of intimidation reportedly happened the same night that Winter was assaulted.
On August 20, Kerry was last seen fighting with Arnold before she went missing.
Witnesses told the police they saw Arnold beating Kerry and then driving her off in his car.
Wearing a white shirt and black trousers, Arnold looked more relaxed on Tuesday in the court compared to the last hearing.
He has been in police detention since August 25 in connection with the assault, killing and disappearance of his ex-girlfriend, Kerry Winter.
The 42-year-old accused with thick blond hair was arrested at the Dubai International Airport upon his arrival from the UK.
The next hearing in the case is slated for October 14.
According to senior prosecutor Ahmed Essa Al Adhab, the investigations in the reported killing of Kerry are still on.
However, the police have still not been able to find Kerry’s body despite extensive search operations being carried out.
The senior prosecutor said that if the police fail to recover the body of Kerry, it would be very hard to prove the charges of premeditated murder.
Arnold, meanwhile, has been changing his statements.
He has refused to admit to the killing or where he has dumped Kerry’s body.
In the past, Arnold had filed a lawsuit against Kerry, accusing her of stealing his laptop, a cheque and a mobile phone from his house.
