The Indian real estate industry, which is set on a path of resilience and reforms, recognises market leaders in a special ceremony

The eagerly awaited business event 'Real Estate & Business Excellence Awards' took place with great pomp and lasted with a lot of poise and pride for all the iconic pioneers of the booming real estate industry.
Organised and hosted by Adsync Advertising LLC in association with SHK Ventures-Mumbai and Oneders Events-Delhi on April 26 at the grand venue of Taj-Dubai, the event was primarily a platform set apart to recognise the accomplishments of real estate companies and professionals; they have paved the pathway for massive flourishment in the real estate and other business sectors across India and globally.
The stage was graced by the presence of legendary entrepreneur and veteran NRI, Dr. Ram Buxani, Chairman of ITL Cosmos Group, UAE.
Dr. Buxani, warmly known as the founding father of the UAE's NRI community, delivered few words on his incredible journey from India to Dubai and the substantial changes that took place in the Indian real estate back in the 1980s and now.
The business legend stands tall on the belief that change is inevitable and that one should always be upfront and ever ready for changes in life.
Being instrumental in getting the estate duty abolished way back in 1985, Dr. Buxani emphatically states that the Indian real estate sector has come a long way and looks quite promising, especially for the NRIs looking to invest or own a home back home.
He signed off from the stage by expressing his sincere appreciation for Pradeep Pinto, the CEO of Adsync Advertising LLC, for having conceived the idea to bring up a platform like this to acknowledge the worth and work of the growing real estate sector and business professionals of India.
The stage then featured a livewire Conclave session that comprised of a team of eminent panelists from the leading Indian property segment, Deepak Vazirani, Head of Global Business, Rustomjee-Mumbai; Nidhi Srivastava, Senior Vice President - Head of Sales & CRM, Kolte Patil-Pune; and Umesh Goel, Director, Property Junction International, and was moderated by Issac John, Editorial Director of Khaleej Times.
With the rupee depreciating against the dollar, NRIs have more purchasing power for investments back home. A favourable exchange rate coupled with regulatory reforms present an unprecedented investment opportunity for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) looking to invest in the Indian real estate market.
Reforms such as the RERA and introduction of escrow accounts have made Indian real estate more transparent and increased the developers' accountability in terms of possession deadlines and quality of construction. This has definitely inspired more NRIs to regain confidence to invest in India. 
The Indian Real Estate sector is thriving with opportunities and offers you a plethora of housing options affordable to all sections of the society - be it meeting the basic lodging needs of the middle class section or the ultra-luxurious demands of the elite class.
The real estate market in India is currently in the midst of fairly challenging times. In the last few years, there have been a few noticeable macro shifts that have challenged the realty sector.
Few cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai have been doing well in terms of attracting investors in India due to a lot of growth factors like excellent infrastructure initiatives brought in by the state and central government such as Metro and smart city projects.
The event witnessed 23 winners in the category of the Indian Real Estate and Business Excellence Awards. The award ceremony was felicitated by Pradeep Pinto, CEO of Adsync Advertising LLC, in the presence of Dr. Ram Buxani, Chairman of ITL Cosmos Group-UAE, who was the honourable chief guest of the show.
