Aero Asia plans to expand operation

ABU DHABI - Aero Asia, which has recently introduced its first flight to Peshawar from the Garden City of Al Ain, is planning to add another flight to the destination in response to the strong market demand.

Speaking at a reception in honour of travel agents based in Al Ain, Wing Commander (retd) Mohammad Murad, Resident Director Gulf, said that one more flight had been planned for Islamabad.

Mr Murad said that an MD-83 aircraft would soon join the airline that would exclusively operate on Peshawar sector as airline had ambitious plans for fleet expansions.

Aero Asia currently has eight aircraft, including B-737 and DC-9.

Mr Murad also briefed the travel agents on the new web-based advance reservation called “Vediocom” which would be provided to all travel agents in near future for accessing to the airlines reservation system. In this regard, he said, the airline was arranging a series of training sessions for the booking staff at airlines training centre in Karachi.

Speaking about the coming Eid Al Fitr peak season, he said that in order to facilitate the heavy seasonal rush, extra flights were being planned to tackle the high demand during the season.
