The region's largest low-cost carrier has expanded its network to include four new destinations this year, including Kozhikode and New Delhi in India, Shirazin Iran and Dhaka in Bangladesh.
The destination expansion has also helped bring more than 1.6million passengers to Air Arabia's cabins this year, filling planes to an average of 86 per cent.
Air Arabia Commercial Department Head AK Nizar said the airline continued to look to expand its services and meet the needs of its passengers.
"As we continue to expand our list of destinations and grow our fleet, we hope to introduce even greater numbers of people to our award-winning service and competitively priced fares. We look forward to passing another 10 million passenger mark in a very short time," he said.
