Located along the Dubai-Sharjah Highway, the shopping centre service is Air Arabia’s third off-site check-in area, following the launch of similar initiatives in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah last year.

Safeer Mall’s desk is equipped to accept baggage, which is then sent to the Sharjah International Airport. The latest travellers can use the feature is four hours before departure.

Passengers will receive boarding passes, as well as claim tags for any checked-in cases, meaning they need to only arrive at the airport to board.

“Our new facility will be a great addition for our passengers based in Sharjah, helping to reduce the amount of time they need to spend at the airport and making the process of flying a total hassle-free experience,” said Air Arabia Group Chief Executive Officer Adel Ali.

The terminal in Safeer Mall is currently operational, and will be accessible seven days a week, from 9am to 10pm.

Four daily express shuttle services between the airport and mall are also available for Dh10 per person each.
