ABU DHABI — An Airbus A340-600 aircraft due for delivery to Etihad Airways next week has sustained airframe damage at the manufacturer’s headquarters in Toulouse, France, the Abu Dhabi-based UAE carrier said yesterday. A Press release by Etihad said nine peopel were injured in the accident.
“The aircraft was undergoing pre-delivery engine tests and sustained airframe damage as a result of the incident,” Etihad said in a statement.
