All set for an outing? Splash at Murjan

Abu Dhabi - Abu Dhabi Municipality has designated Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Murjan Splash Park for ladies with even the staff being females.

Murjan Splash Park is a favourite destination for families in the Capital as it provides a safe environment for children including aqua sports with world-class standards.
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has been keen on providing plentiful recreational facilities, as well as safe, hazard-free, clean and healthy environment conforming to the highest safety standards. The civic body is also keen on deploying technical staff, including lifeguards and guards, to serve park visitors.
The municipality has designated Tuesdays and Wednesdays for ladies with even the staff being females. Only boys aged eight and below will be allowed in the park on those two days.
A team of 17 highly trained and qualified rescue persons have been deployed in the park. Other staff have undergone water safety plus training, which covers CPR and first aid. Since the opening of the park, there has been zero drowning cases or nasty injuries.
The park has also attracted several community events, national sports and awareness programmes, like for example the largest swimming lesson.
Spanning 2,900 square meters, Murjan Splash Park is located near the Falcon Entrance of Khalifa Park. It has a capacity to accommodate 350 people at a time.
