India's most popular TV journalist Arnab Goswami has resigned from Times Now, where he anchored one of the top rated news shows in Indian history, according to media reports.
According to The News Minute, he announced his resignation at an editorial meeting. He told his team that he will start something on his own.
He was the Editor-in-Chief and President, News, of Times Now and ET Now.
According to the report, Times Television Network is still in the process of announcing Goswami's replacement. While BW Businessworld did not get any official comments at the time of filing the report, the development has been confirmed by a very senior company resource.
Times Now is an English news channel launched in 2006 in India. Arnab is a news reader and a talk show host in Times Now. His show The Newshour is aired at 9 pm with live news coverage.
