DUBAI — The Aster brand of DM Healthcare, leading healthcare conglomerate in the region, opened its first multispecialty medical centre in Sharjah on Monday.
The Aster Medical Centre on King Faisal Street was officially inaugurated by veteran Indian playback singer K. J. Yesudas in the presence of Dr Azad Moopen, chairman of DM Healthcare, various dignitaries from the Government of Sharjah, Ministry of Health and senior representatives of the group.
Commenting on the new centre, Dr Moopen said: “This is a landmark expansion for the group as well as for the Aster chain of medical centres; it is one of the many steps we are taking as part of our desire to be closer to the community. We are confident that the new medical centre is a welcome development for Sharjah residents who would be able to avail our cutting-edge healthcare services.”
Along with the Aster Medical Centre in Sharjah, the group has also opened an Aster pharmacy in line with the DM Healthcare vision of providing end-to-end medical and support facilities to the community.

The Aster Medical Centre in Sharjah will start with six departments headed by senior medical professionals offering services in general medicine, gynaecology, paediatrics, dentistry, pathology and radiology. The medical centre offers complete laboratory and radiology services.
