Ayyan Ali case hearing put off to Sept 28

Rawalpindi: Model Ayyan Ali could not be indicted in currency smuggling case on Tuesday and the hearing of the case was adjourned till September 28.
Judge Rana Aftab Ahmad of Rawalpindi Customs Court took up for hearing the currency smuggling case against Ayyan.
Ayyan appeared in the court for the 16th time in this case but she not could be charge-sheeted.
The customs authorities told the court that the case challan was not ready as the matter was subjudice in the Lahore High Court.
Ayyan's lawyer Latif Khosa asked the court to give ruling in favour of his client as the state is also respondent in this case.
Judge Rana Aftab remarked, "You had also been part of the government on a good position. The ruling will be given after the copy of court's order is received."
Customs prosecutor told the court during the hearing of application regarding registration of money laundering case against Ayyan that reply has been filed on the petition. They are ready for giving arguments.
