The Central Operations of Abu Dhabi police and its departments are all set for the new academic year, Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhahiri, Director General of the Central Operations, has said. Brig.
Al Dhahiri said the traffic patrol cars, police officers and personnel as well as the air wing police and ambulance have been well and thoroughly equipped to receive the new school year in order to maintain students' safety.
He said: "The central operations is ready to deal with any report received via the central operations' room and handle any emergency all across the academic year to render its services to those who need, especially our dear students."
The traffic patrols will be stepped up and positioned at all junctions and opposite schools beginning the first day of the school year, which would contribute to maintaining a safe school year to our students, he added.
This is to fulfill a recently launched drive by Abu Dhabi police titled 'Together to Keep our Children Safe', he noted.
