British national wins $1 million at Dubai Duty Free raffle

Dubai - Two others to drive away in a luxury motorbike.

A British national has joined the long list of $1 million winners when the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw was held on Wednesday at Dubai Duty Free's Head Office in Ramool.

Dean Booth, a British national living in the UK, became the latest dollar millionaire when his ticket number 3542 in Millennium Millionaire Series 335 was drawn today. Booth had purchased his ticket online on July 18, 2020.
Booth is unavailable for immediate comment, but will no doubt be surprised when he learns of his newfound wealth. Booth is the fourteenth British national to have won $1 million since the start of the Millennium Millionaire promotion in 1999.
The raw was conducted following strict social distancing by Dubai Duty Free's Executive Vice Chairman & CEO, Colm McLoughlin, Chief Operating Officer, Ramesh Cidambi and Salah Tahlak, Executive Vice President - Corporate Services.

Following the Millennium Millionaire draw, two other winners were announced in the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Promotion to win a luxury motorbike each.
Praveen MBVN, an Indian national based in India won a BMW R nine T Scrambler (Stereo Metallic Matt) with ticket number 0358 in Series no. 415, which he bought online on July 5, 2020. He is also unavailable for comment.

Lastly, Ambuja Nayak, a 40-year-old Indian national based in Dubai won an Aprilia Shiver 900 (Innovation Dark) with ticket number 0734 in Series 416.
A resident of Dubai for 15 years now, Nayak works as an account manager for a steel processing company and was delighted to win in the motorbike promotion for the ticket that he purchased online on July 16.
