A burst water pipe caused flooding on the Abu Dhabi-bound side of Al Khail Road causing a massive traffic jam for over 10kms this morning.
There were massive tailbacks on the E44 Al Khail Road from the Al Ain Road junction to the Dubai Mall.
Major accident on E44 Al Khail Rd near Marabea St intersection towards #AbuDhabi has caused the Rd to be closed. pic.twitter.com/VW0WGuItn9According to Twitter, Dubai Traffic Police has been diverting traffic since 3am on Thursday, closing down a number of lanes as the work goes on to fix the problem.
