Canadians to pay upto 1,000 dollars for UAE visa

According to the website, the travel agencies and hotelsin the UAEwill be able to issue both tourist and visit visas.

Amultiple entry visit visa which will be valid for 6 months with a maximum stay of 14 days for each visit will be valid for six months and would cost 1,000 dollars.

The long term visit visa which will be valid for three months would cost 500 dollars and the short term visit visa would cost 250 dollars and will be valid for 30 days.

The fees come into effect from January 2; about three months after the UAE announced that Canadians would now be required to get visas.

Previously, Canadians, like travellers from the US and 30 other countries, didn’t have to apply for a visa and simply had their passports stamped on arrival.
