Centre set up for green building certification

DUBAI — EHS, the Environment, Health and Safety regulatory arm of Dubai World and Pacific Controls Systems (PCS) have joined hands to establish the Middle East Centre for Sustainable Development (MCSD) to help property developers get ‘green building’ certification.

The new centre will help property companies obtain “Green Building” certification under the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Rating System, it said.
