Character Dubai 2008, being held under the patronage of Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has been hosted by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organisation Establishment. Modhesh, the ever-smiling mascot, is representing the Dubai Shopping Festival Office. With a stand wholly dedicated to Modhesh, Character Dubai 2008 is expected to provide the mascot the impetus to go global and explore opportunities in the international licensing industry.

The exhibition has attracted some 350 local, regional, and international participants and expects to attract around 10,000 trade visitors and dealers as well.
