Charity provides Ramadan meals in Lebanon, Palestine

DUBAI — The Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment has provided Ramadan meals, costing Dh1.1 million, to over 100, 000 people in Lebanon and Palestine, according to Ibrahim Bumelha, Deputy Chairman of the board of trustees of the establishment.

“The establishment offers Iftar and suhour meals to 3,000 people daily in Lebanon. They include the displaced people from Nahr Al Bared in Tripoli, Al Badawi Camp, Beirut, Sidon and suburbs. About 1,100 people also benefited from these Ramadan meals in Nablus and other localities, ” he said.

The establishment provided food items to 2,500 families in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah also upon instructions of Shaikha Hind bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, wife of Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and sponsor of the establishment.
