Charter and Internal Audit methodology of federal govt approved

The approval was given at an ordinary meeting held at the Presidential Palace under the chairmanship of Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs.

The Charter aims to develop the financial system and performance in the federal government through activation of control over financial procedures as well as verification of the compliance of various government bodies with financial and administrative systems and regulations in force.

The Council also reviewed a number of draft bills and amendments to existing laws and gave approval for them. These included amendments to anti narcotic law and family status law.
