Chocolate malva pudding with madagascar vanilla sauce

Serves: 4
Ingredients
For pudding:
Egg 4 pc
Castor sugar 90 gm
Flour, plain 150 gm
Milk, full cream 125 ml
Baking soda 1 gm
Baking powder 1 gm
Chocolate bar 25 gm
Chocolate sauce 25 ml
Butter 45 gm
For sauce:
Milk 150 ml
Cream, thickened 90 ml
Vanilla bean 1 pc
Egg yolk 3 pc
Castor sugar 50 gm
Method
For the pudding, whisk egg and sugar in a mixing bowl until it dissolves.
Mix the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl; add the egg and sugar mixture to it.
Transfer to a baking tray and cook in an oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
For the sauce, bring milk, cream and vanilla bean to boil.
In a separate bowl, whisk yolk and sugar until smooth. Slowly add the liquid to the egg mix.
Return to the stove and cook over low heat until it starts to coat the back of a spoon.
Once the pudding is cooked, cut into portions and top with the Madagascar sauce.
