Clean-up drive after ‘Gonu’

Hundreds of ‘Takatof’ volunteers from all over the country are taking part in the campaign, together with MoE staff, teachers, students and national environmental groups.

The objective of the campaign is to clean up the corniches and beaches in Kalba, Khor Fakkan and Fujairah, by removing uprooted trees and dead wood, trash, animal carcasses and other detritus left behind by the cyclone.
