Commemorative stamps

The stamps have been issued in four denominations - Dh 1, Dh2, Fils 350 and Dh4 - and they demonstrate the breadth of architectural vision and the unique lifestyle the development promises.

During a ceremony held at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, Emirates Post Assistant Director General, Fahad Al Hosani, presented Aldar Chairman Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh with an ornamental frame containing the four stamps and the First Day Cover.

The stamps are expected to become a collector’s item for philatelists around the world. They will be on sale from today at 84 post offices of the Emirates Post and 600 postal agencies across the UAE. They will remain in circulation until the issue is sold out.

Al Hosani said, “This is the first time in the Emirates Post’s history that we have issued postage stamps in conjunction with a real estate developer to celebrate a significant new project.”

“Aldar’s Al Raha Beach will become a major new address within Abu Dhabi and we are proud to honour the development with this commemorative collection. Al Raha Beach will establish a benchmark within the real estate sector - setting new standards of excellence.
