Jehlum: The condition of several schoolgirls who were admitted to a local hospital after they inhaled anti-dengue spray at their school in Jehlum worsened on Sunday.
Several girls complained of having severe trouble in breathing as their family members lashed out at doctors for what they called "pathetic" treatment given to their children.
Over 70 girls lost conscious after an anti-dengue fumigation campaign was carried out at the Domaili Girls High School on Saturday. Provincial Minister Rana Mashood said the fumigation campaign was carried out on Friday but its impact was felt the next day. Action would be taken against those responsible for not following the proper method, Mashood told reporters.
