One of my friends enrolled her child in the same course and was quoted a fee of Dh600 for the same two subjects. When I contacted the institute to complain about the unfairness of this, they were least bothered and did not listen to my complaints."

MARIUM of International Language Institute, Sharjah, replied: "The parent in question has enrolled her child in the summer course, which is a two-month course and the fee is Dh500 per subject. Her friend inquired about the normal course, which is a six-month course and the fee is Dh 300 per month. The difference in rates is because of the difference in the duration of the two courses."
Long wait for taxi at mall
A RESIDENT of Dubai called up KT Hotline complaining that his family was forced to wait a long time for a taxi after they had finished shopping at Century Mall. "The shopping mall does not provide any taxi facility. It was hard for my family to wait long time for taxi. The mall should facilitate taxi service for the customers," he said.

WHEN Khaleej Times contacted the manager of the mall, he said: "We have a tie-up with Dubai Transport Corporation for facilitating taxi service for the customers. Normally the taxi will come within five to seven minutes."
"We believe in giving better service to our customers. if the customers still find it a problem to find cabs, we will look into it," he said.
