Consul General of India's address: Strengthened fraternal ties

On the eve of the 69^th Independence Day, I extend my heartiest felicitations to all my countrymen and to the friends of India.
India and the UAE enjoy fraternal bonds that rest on millennial-old interaction. I am happy to note that last year added further impetus to this already vibrant relationship.

The 2.6-million strong Indian community is a source of strength in further deepening and broadening these ties. I take this occasion to acknowledge and appreciate the vibrancy, industriousness and dynamism of my Indian brothers and sisters who, with their achievements and invaluable role in the Emirati society, continue to make all of us proud.
