Consulate to help Pakistani nationals find jobs

DUBAI — Community Welfare Attaches (CWAs) posted in the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai will soon set up a systematic mechanism for enhancing manpower export from Pakistan so as to explore job opportunities for them.

The move comes as part of instructions to all Pakistani missions abroad from the Pakistan government directing them to explore job opportunities for Pakistanis in foreign job markets so that the Pakistani manpower could be exported according to a fixed target.

Pakistani Consul General in Dubai, Amanullah Larik said that the welfare counsellors at the Pakistani consulate would soon start visiting potential companies, both in the government and private sector to explore their potential.

“We are glad to be working on a governmental level. Our course of action will include visiting government departments so as to inquire about their job requirements after which we can furnish a list of potential job aspirants from Pakistan to the company as per their requirement,” he said.

He also said that the welfare counsellors would be working towards developing effective working relationships with the host government so that we can get their help in resolving the probs of overseas Pakistani swiftly.
