The display will reveal the costume jewellery made by leading designers of the 20th century worn by the stars of both stage and screen.
The DIFAAF features leading galleries from Paris, Rome, Milan, Moscow, Tokyo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Vienna, Brussels and Florence showing a range of the world’s finest antiques and works of art. More than 20,000 individual exhibits will be on display. The fair will take place under the patronage of the Dubai Cultural Council.
The ‘Golden Age of Hollywood’ is a display of photographs of the famous Hollywood stars of 1930-50, shown wearing stunning jewellery by the most famous designers of the period.
The display is presented by Deanna Farneti, from Milan, who has written a number of important books on the subject. Farneti will be exhibiting and offering for sale a range of valuable pieces that once belonged to the Hollywood stars on her stand.
