DUBAI — Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, has called on the directors of various police departments to take steps to improve the performance of the force.
Chairing a meeting of the directors on Tuesday, Lt-Gen Dhahi asked them to encourage the personnel to adopt the latest techniques to bring about tangible improvement in policing as well as other duties.
He said the directors of departments should update themselves on the latest techniques and ensure that the personnel also undergo the annual training programme.
The directors must coordinate with the Department of Human Resources to conduct training programmes that suit the requirements of their field. He urged them to provide training to the staff to provide the new services introduced by the police.
