Dhow goes up in flames at Dubai Creek
Dubai - Plumes of black smoke could be seen from miles away, with surfers sending pictures from various parts of old Dubai.
The crew guided the ship towards the dock where large amounts of stored cargo caught fire.
Fire brigades from three civil defense stations including Hamriya, Port Saeed and Karama rushed to the site.
The dhow was full of goods and was being loaded when the fire erupted.

"I could see firefighters, ambulance and police rushing to the area. I hope everyone is alright," Nawazish Syed, an eyewitness, told Khaleej Times on Facebook.
