DUBAI - A prominent Indian Doctor, Dr Abdul Ghaffar Doshani died yesterday early morning in a private hospital in Dubai following a heart attack. He was 63.
Dr Doshani, who had spent 36 years of his life in the UAE, arrived in the country in 1967. He was a general practitioner. He worked at Al Maktoum Hospital, then at Dubai Clinic before he opened his own private clinic in 1976.
He was the former vice-president of the Indian Association in Dubai. He is survived by his wife, Dr Belquis and four daughters, two of whom are doctors, a third one is studying for engineering and the other is studying business.
He will be buried today after the Asr prayer at Al Quoz graveyard.
