ABU DHABI- To facilitate community members who send their money to Pakistan through legal channels, the Pakistan Embassy is placing two drop boxes at different points of the Embassy in which the receipts of the amount remitted to Pakistan could be dropped, Ambassador Jamil Ahmed Khan said while talking to community members at the Embassy.

All Pakistanis sending remittances to Pakistan to the tune of Dh15,000 in a year are awarded commendation certificates by the Ambassador.

The procedure of recording the remittances and awarding of the commendation certificates is being simplified by the Embassy to save valuable time of the community, the Ambassador stated. He has directed the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai to adopt the same procedure.

Under the drop box facility, the community members are required to drop a copy of the receipt of money remitted to Pakistan along with a copy of the remittance book and personal details.

Khan assured them that all persons coming to the Embassy for any of the consular and community related services would be facilitated.
