Among the winners of the various competitions hosted during the Arts Surprises Week are Thejas Rathan, a student of Varkey International Private School, Alston D'Costa from St. Joseph's School, and Upsana Rathan from Our Own Indian High School. During the Arts Surprises, the winners of the Cosmos Quiz include Silvia Noel Micha (Iraqi national), Shaikha Alshehmi (UAE national) and Ayaz Khan, a Pakistani. They will each receive a DVD player, courtesy Cosmos group, Dubai.

The web site, which has been spruced up in a big way, showcases an array of information and entertainment, providing a completely interactive experience for the children. The web site is a prime media of communication during DSS as it provides the best of knowledge and excitement to the children. The DSS web site recorded 6.827 million visitors last year, which epitomises how much the children enjoyed being a part of the antics and fun.
